Overview

Kopyrrol Aqua is the water-soluble salt form of Pyrrolidinyl Diaminopyrimidine Oxide (PDPO) paired with Oxothiazolidinecarboxylic Acid (OTZ). Mechanism of Action

• Potassium channel opening — PDPO directly activates ATP-sensitive K⁺ channels in dermal papilla cells, increasing local blood flow and oxygen delivery to the hair follicle, analogous to the mechanism of minoxidil.
• Wnt/β-catenin signaling — Promotes follicular stem cell activation and prolongs the anagen (growth) phase.
• TGF-β1 downregulation — Reduces the primary signal responsible for catagen induction and follicular miniaturization in androgenetic alopecia.
• OTZ contribution — The oxothiazolidinecarboxylate counterion provides cysteine precursor activity that supports keratin synthesis and antioxidant defense in follicular tissue.

Composition
